GROUP THERAPY FOR ANGER MANAGEMENT

 10,000

Anger is a normal, healthy emotion, neither good nor bad. Like any emotion, it conveys a message, telling you that a situation is upsetting, unjust, or threatening. It’s perfectly normal to feel angry when you’ve been mistreated or wronged, anger becomes a problem when you express it in a way that harms yourself or others. You think you need to show your fury to get respect. But the truth is that anger is much more likely to have a negative impact on the way people see you, impair your judgment, and get in the way of success.

Anger doesn’t seem to be the same for everyone and we all express it in different ways. When you are angry, you may notice some physical features such as:

  • Speaking or screaming out loud
  • Stretch the closed fist
  • Scolding loudly
  • Close the jaw tightly
  • Physical trembling
  • Feeling the heart beat faster
  • Excessive sweating
  • Walking too fast
  • Increased muscle tension
  • Increased energy levels
  • Increased blood pressure
  • Increase in body temperature

Anger can be caused by external events such as:

  • Feeling bad about a coworker in the office
  • Cancellation of an agreement
  • Any personal problem
  • Recurring memories of the past
